American inventor into contemporary terms to help today's leaders harness their own
innovative potential. It will serve as the focal point for Caldicott's speaking

some colleagues started in 1998, upon anticipating the trend towards global IT
outsourcing and the major role China would play. Prior to I.T. UNITED (Information

(EDS) on various assignments in Europe, the United States, and Asia-Pacific. He was
eventually posted to China as Head of Technical Infrastructure to establish and lead

Global Hub of IT Outsourcing, which explores the new, uncharted, and potentially
profitable, waters of IT outsourcing in China.

innovation, and leadership. He has worked for the publication for 10 years, starting
in Silicon Valley then moving to the New York City offices in 1999. Hamm is the
author of Bangalore Tiger, published by McGraw-Hill, which talks about the prowess
of outsourcing companies in India with their low-cost labor, high quality, and
business process expertise. Hamm will deliver a session on Thursday afternoon
titled, "Climbing up the Value Chain: Escaping the Commoditization Trap".

"Understanding what outsourcing truly means is crucial to growing your business,
particularly among small to medium size companies. Once more companies realize that
outsourcing is not about taking away jobs, but rather creating increased
productivity and revenue, the better off their business will be," said David Etzler,
Managing Director of OutsourceWorld. "We have managed to acquire speakers,
exhibitors, and now authors, who are not only experts in their fields. but believers
of this concept. If anybody can get the message across, it's them."
